Call for Nominations for Board Members of INTECOL

INTECOL is seeking nominations from ecological societies for candidates to fill positions on the Board. Replacement of up to 9 Board members is being sought, so that turnover of half of the Board can be achieved. The INTECOL Board is requesting that ecological societies nominate up to two suitable candidates (who are members of their own ecological society). Nominations will be accepted until 9 December 2019. An election process will be run in January/February 2020, via email. Each society will be able to vote in the election.

Through the election, INTECOL is seeking candidates who will contribute to improving the diversity, equality and global representation of the association. We want people who are willing to work hard, represent all ecologists across the world and the science of ecology globally. We are also seeking candidates who will fill roles such as developing thematic groups, expanding membership, and improving communication.

Candidates should provide a 1-2 page summary, addressing each of the criteria in the following documents:
